Bringing Bon Bons back

Bringing Bon Bons back

If you attended the school orientation, you may have seen senior exec selling colorful candy. These candies are called “Eiffel Bon Bons.” These chewy candies are now on sale to students. All of the money will go to the senior class to fund things such as the 2013 senior prom.

Senior class President Dan Altmann (12) came up with the idea of selling these candies.

“I remembered how my old German teacher in middle school sold them and everyone loved them,” Altmann said.

Students who attended Oakville Middle School might remember Bon Bons if they took foreign language classes. Senior Avrey Droney is one of those students.

“I like the idea that they are bringing them back. I can finally munch on my favorite childhood treat.” said Droney.

The Bon Bons are available in the flavors strawberry, green apple, watermelon, and blue raspberry. They are sold for one dollar a pack.

“We are selling them before and after school in the senior hallway by the doors to the quad.” said Rachel Scott (12). “We are selling them every Friday and we are calling it ‘Bon Bon Friday.’”

Bon Bons will be sold until the stock runs out.
