Fans have been anticipating the World War III tour due to the release of Hollywood Undead’s most recent album American Tragedy, which entered the top 200 billboard chart at number four. To date, close to 210,000 copies of the album have been sold, and continues to chart in the top 10 Hard Rock Albums.
American Tragedy showcases their musical range of talent, including the addition of mainstream pop and southern rap genres, while still staying true to their usual rap-rock style.
The single “Coming Back Down” became popular very quickly, even though it was considered one of the slower songs on the album. The song takes on a serious tone, with lyrics influenced by the death of a loved one. One of the later tracks, “Tendencies” takes listeners back to the roots of the bands genre, with hard-hitting, hard core beats. The switch up of beats, rhythm, and intense bass throughout the album take listeners on a musical roller coaster.
