This past week at OHS was a little chaotic. Without school on Monday due to presidents day, and a pep assembly that was scheduled to be on Friday, Feb. 21, the schedule was supposed to be a little different.
On Thursday, OHS students were supposed to have their fourth block during ANP and sixth block during fourth block on Friday, they were supposed to have a pep assembly for support for Polar Bear Plunge, but two snow days took place for that. These two days set OHS back by two days and over rode the pep assembly that was supposed to be taking place.
The pep assembly is not going to be rescheduled. It was a big deal for STUCO and Leadership which were the clubs sponsoring it and they are disappointed.
“I’m upset that the assembly didn’t take place and isn’t going to be rescheduled because I feel like more people would have been aware that Polar Bear Plunge was taking place and we would have had more people to get ‘Wet and Wild’ with us,” Polar Bear Plunger Mikey Bellinger (12) said.
