OHS Student Molds Into Modeling
Senior Alex Jost Invited To Model Wedding Dresses
Alex Jost (12) gets the opportunity to accomplish one of her childhood dreams.
While attending the Hillsboro High School dress exchange to get her dress fitted, Jost was asked if she had ever modeled. She has never modeled but used to want to when she was younger. Both Jost’s voice teacher and her aunt modeled and participated in beauty pageants. She has always dreamed of being a princess and this is the closest thing to it.
As they were fitting her, they offered her a chance to make her childhood dream come true. She agreed to model formal wear such as bridal dresses and wedding dresses.
“I tried to be ladylike but i basically ran across the gym,” Jost said.
Jost was so excited for the offer that she couldn’t contain her excitement and ran across the stage to tell her mom.
Jost starts to model Sept. 24. In her fitting, she will try on different dresses and make sure they fit perfectly. After that, she will partake in her first fashion show which is on Oct. 19. Jost is extremely excited and cannot wait to be on the stage.
