STUCO sponsors second OHS Easter egg hunt
For the second year in a row, Student Council will sponsor an Easter egg hunt held at OHS on March 12 for kids 4 years of age to 10.
Last year, OHS Student Council (STUCO) execs thought of a fun way to spread Easter spirit and raise money for the organization. This year the fun returns. Eggs will be hidden all throughout the football field with candy on the inside. The event starts at 12 pm and goes until 2 pm. Kids 4 to 7 years old will have their Easter egg hunt first, starting at 12:30. After, kids within the ages of 8 to 10 will start at 1:30 pm.
“We will be selling tickets at the door for $5. This gives the kids a hunt plus games at booths, similar to victory village and Trick or Treat night. Last year we also had somebody dress up in the Tiger costume and we had a bunny costume, and kids could take pictures with them,” said Ms. Rebecca Dutcher, OHS STUCO sponsor.
Children will also have the chance to play fun games inside the cafeteria and even win prizes. Concessions will also be available for purchase. Reservations are recommended to be submitted to Dutcher at [email protected], by March 10.
