As of Feb. 17, the NHS sponsored donkey basketball game is canceled.
Issues with the company’s insurance led to a central office decision to call off the game. There is a possibility that another game will be scheduled through a different company later in the school year, but this roadblock is still very disappointing for NHS officers and sponsors.
Anyone who bought admission or raffle tickets will receive a full refund, but NHS is still faced with several hundred dollars worth of donkey basketball themed t-shirts.
