Leadership students gain extra shadows
November 1 Oakville is allowing parochial students to shadow or follow leadership students here at OHS, for the first time ever.
20 eighth graders came from several parochial schools such as: Queen of All Saints, St. Francis of Assisi, St. Margaret Mary of Alacoque, and Abiding Savior Lutheran to see what it is like attending public school.
The Leadership students showed them around campus and did their best to convince them to attend our great school.
Though many of the shadow students really didn’t have much to do in terms of classes. “I think it went well, the shadowing was a good idea for parochial students even though she seemed kind of bored” Leadership student Hayden Trout (12) explained.
