OHS installs new security cameras
Some new additions were recently implemented in OHS to keep an eye on students – cameras, that is. The new cameras will help administrators to observe the entire school and ensure students’ security.
“We installed new cameras because there were blindspots in the halls that we were looking to get cameras in for safety purposes,” said Vice Principal Mr. Matthew Willett.
The new cameras are also more advanced than the cameras currently in place.
“They’re a little clearer just because times have changed and technology is better,” said Willett.
Although many students have heard that these new cameras would be out of sight and more discrete, the administration says the reality is quite the contrary.
“We’re not hiding anything,” said Willett. “It’d be nice if students couldn’t see them, but no, they’re the exact same as always.”
