Once again, Oakville’s Golden Girls proved they are among the top dance teams in the nation at the National Dance Alliance (NDA) in Orlando, FL on March 2-4.

The girls competed in small varsity pom, jazz, and team performance categories, and placed higher than last year in each. They placed fourth in pom, 12th in jazz, and fourth in team performance.

“We are very pleased with how we did,” said Haedyn Kirkpatrick (11).

In addition to their placements, the Golden Girls were also awarded with an NDA Unleashed Award for the most memorable and innovative routine.

“We feel so happy with our placements,” said Morgan Murphy (11). “We worked very hard all year, and we feel that we are making huge strides for the program.”
