The OHS ice hockey team plays St. Louis University High tonight at 6:40 p.m at Hardees Ice Plex in Chesterfield. SLUH has a daunting record of 20-2.
One of those wins came against Oakville, which lost 7-3 on Jan. 3.
“They think they can just walk all over us, but if we execute our gameplan we have a good chance to win,” Brendan Coon (10) said.
The Tigers are average against private schools this year going 2-2 with one tie against Chaminade. The private schools that Oakville has played have a combined record of 75-37.
“Our boys are confident and they understand the importance of this game,” Head coach of the JV development team Mick O’Halloran said.
