Boys soccer suffers disappointing loss in tournament championship game
The varsity soccer team lost to St. Dominics with 2 minutes left in the second half on Saturday. The final score of the game was 1-0.
Although the score does not show it, the Tigers held their own the entire game against the defending class 2 state champs in their own tournament.
“This was our best game yet,” right winger, Kolade Osikoya (11) said. The team placed 2nd overall in the tournament this week.
“We finally came together and played Oakville soccer,” defenseman Eric Tate (11) said. There is high hopes for the team in the near future with wins in sight. The
Tigers next game is at 6pm Tuesday, September 17 against rival Lindbergh at LHS.
