Boys relay swims to state
Nick Zeltmann (12), Zach Neisius (10), Jake Landmann (12), and Ryan Brady (12), qualified for State While swimming the 200 free relay at the Lindbergh swim meet on September 19, 2013. This was the fourth time that the boys had raced this relay, completing it in 1:33:73. The boys didn’t think that their 200 free relay would have a chance until they began training together.
As a returning swimmer who qualified for state last year, Landmann said, “I feel surprised that we actually made it. And it feels good to be on the state team again.”
The relay works really well together and since they made it to state so early in the season the boys are looking forward to training even harder for the big state meet on November, 19, 2013.
Coach Dan Schoenfeldt said, “the boys have a lot of work ahead of them but our goal is to make it in the top 16 at state.”
