Field hockey at All-Conference
Field Hockey had the best season yet this year with a 10-10-1 record, a first time win during a state game, and a second place trophy in a silver division of a public school tournament, another first for the field hockey team.
Another first was having five girls recognized for All Conference. Stephanie Leto and Erin Rossics were given honorable mentions while Sarah Sax and Veronica Mohenski were put on the second team. Dallas Carter was honored with a spot on the first team.
“It’s a real honor because it’s not just your parents telling you you’re good or your teammates saying good job it’s people who you don’t even know just seeing you for a couple of games saying you deserve this, and it was just really cool seeing all my hard work being recognized,” Dallas Carter said.
“I felt really excited that I made All Conference, I knew it was a big deal so it felt good,” Sarah Sax said.
Congratulations and good luck to All Conference title winners in their next season and for the seniors case, in their journey to college.
