Hi, I’m Haley Hughes. This year I am the editor-in-chief of The Prowl. I am also involved in being the football manager, basketball, Youth and Government, Leadership and track. I love to be involved and experience everything I possibly can. After high school, I am looking into going to college for journalism and psychology.

It came with the fact there were a bunch of coaching positions...I said 'I'll coach anything' to get a job as a teacher," Gerdes said. He has been coaching and teaching since he got out of college over 20 years ago.

Natalie Chrestman poses for soccer while in a boot due to an over use injury. "I then got it (boot) taken off for soccer tryouts and tried off and made the team. Then it started turning red and bruising so then I went back to my orthopedic and they said ‘This is worse than before, you shouldn’t have done that, it could be broken next time and, you are probably going to have to get surgery again.’" Chrestman said. She has been in and out of her boot since the middle of her basketball medicine.

Math teacher Tyler Lingle goes up against Kyle Le (12) for the tip-off to start the Students v. Teachers basketball game Jan. 25. “My favorite part of the game was Sawyer announcing my name as MVP. I was completely shocked, and then everyone lifted me up,” Le said. Le may not have been capable of jumping high enough to win the tip-off, but he felt that he showed he could shoot from different areas around the court.
