OHS senior wins Mehlville Art Show
Alex Perry (12) won the Mehlville School District Art Show held on April 28th with her string art project.
Mrs. Meghan Kling, the ceramics teacher, and her student teacher picked out three projects that was done well and creatively by their students to enter them in the competition.
The art show held was an all district art show, meaning that kids from kindergarten up to seniors in high school could enter artwork. At the art show, a set of judges went to each of the projects to judge them.
“I am really excited she won first place. The past three years, I have had students enter the art show, but none of them have ever place,” Kling said.
