STUCO starts annual food and toiletries drive
The annual food drive started up this past week, but with a small twist.
On Nov. 2, STUCO started their annual can food drive. The theme this year is “Feed The World.” Their food drives usually include competition between classes to spark interest and urgency. Different from their last drive, however, themed the “hunger games,” they are not allowing class elimination. Instead, all ANP classes can compete throughout the 20 day timeframe.
STUCO is not merely collecting food items this year. Student Body President Katie Bauman says that toiletries are also to be collected. Toiletries are actually encouraged to be brought in more than canned food items.
Donations are to be collected at the end of each week until Nov. 22.
