The senior class played catch up in the annual powderpuff game on Tuesday, Sept. 22.
The seniors were down 21-0 before Favor Oparaji (12) scored three touchdowns in the second half, ending in a tie.
“I scored those three touchdowns, thankfully,” Oparaji said.
During the first half only one touchdown was scored by Mackenzie O’Neill (11). During the second, the juniors achieved an even bigger lead with touchdowns by Cathy Rabin and Emily Miskovic.
Oparaji stepped up in the second half. The last play of the game ended with Favor running the ball into the endzone for her third and final touchdown.
“It was nice having all the seniors come up to me and hug me after scoring,” Oparaji said.
