The OHS boys volleyball team is 20-7 this season with a recent win over Francis Howell North 2-0. The Tigers finish the season against Affton on May 8 at 5 pm at OHS. Districts start on May 10.
“Our goal is to make it out of districts,” Sam Lodes (12) said.
Jake Duckworth (12) is having a stellar season this year, leading the area in kills per game with 4.98. He’s also second in the area in ace average with .95.
“We can get hot, but we just have to do it,” Duckworth said.
The Tigers begin districts on May 10 against Francis Howell Central, Ritenour, CBC, and Fort Zumwalt West. CBC is the top seed with a 22-5 record. They are arguably the Tigers toughest opponent.
“If we stay positive, they are definitely beatable,” Lodes said.
