Tigers defeat Lindbergh on chaotic night

On a very chaotic night (Feb. 21), the OHS boys basketball team was able to become the center of attention in the second half. After a night full of performances and presentations and a slow first half the Tigers were able to pull away in the second half and come out victorious, defeating Lindbergh 57-40.

Carvon Robinison (11) had a season high scoring 20 points to help lead his team to a victory.

“I felt like I needed to step up my game for the seniors,” Robinson said.

Ervin Sarajlic (12) put home two dunks and netted 14 points, while Austin Gillmann (12) scored 12 points with 2 put-back dunks to celebrate their senior night.

“It felt good getting a big win on our night, it is something I will never forget,” Gillmann said. .

Head coach Nick Traxler was very pleased with his team saying, “I thought everyone played very well especially the seniors on their senior night”.

The Tigers play again Wednesday the 26th at 7p.m. at home against Washington. This is the Tigers last game before they start district play next week.
