Varsity soccer takes on Eureka
Boys Varsity Soccer suffered a tough loss on Tuesday, October 6 at their home field.
They played Eureka, and the game ended with a score of 2-1. Collin Neff (11) started the game off with his goal to put the Tigers in the lead, but in the second half, Eureka scored twice.
After scoring, Collin Neff said, “I was very excited because the last goal I made was called back, so it felt good to finally get one that counted against a ranked team.”
Although Neff and the rest of his teammates played hard, they just barely fell short.
“I thought we played a very good first half and controlled the game,” Neff said, “but the second half they came out and played harder.”
Although it was not enough this time, the Tigers gave Eureka a run for their money!
