Boys tennis prepare for districts
With the end of their regular season at hand, boys tennis looks to end things on a high note.
Currently, the team has a record of 3-5, with districts beginning today. The boys have been practicing a lot, and have been working hard to make sure they go far in the postseason.
“We’re fine-tuning some skills, and we have a few matches coming up, so that should get us in the mindset for districts,” said varsity player Nathan Long (12).
Head coach Bill Ebert is heavily dependent on his top six players– Long (12), Brandon Eckstein (12), Devon Roth (12), David Cormack (12), Carter Nichols (12), and Brendan Boone (11).
Last year the boys won districts and plan to repeat.
“We’re excited to defend our title,” said Ebert. “We are looking good, and the boys are ready to play.”
