Questioning the seniors

Trivia Night gives seniors an opportunity to bond

The day after the student body of OHS returns from spring break, Monday, March 23, the senior class is invited to participate in a Trivia Night hosted by Mr. Matt Willett.

Willett and his senior club have been meeting and doing various activities for class bonding. The group has mostly been playing sports, but many students wanted to try something different.

“I  got the idea after noticing some seniors weren’t attending the club because of the sports,” Willett said, “So I thought it would be good to do something with their brains.”

The event will be held in Gym A and will go from 6-8:30. Participants will answer questions from six different categories. Willett is making sure the topics will be relevant to students. People can participate by signing up with a team or table of their friends.

“My friend, Alexandria Elder(12), convinced us to go participate with our class and have fun,” Madie Behnen(12) said.

Although this event is an extension of the senior club, Willett is creating some friendly competition by allowing teachers/staff to make teams. So far the secretaries and business department have teams.

It wouldn’t be a trivia night without a winner. Only the first place winner will be awarded, but a raffle will be held for one free prom ticket. The winning team will receive free senior breakfast tickets for each member.

Seniors can bring their own food for their team and Willett will provide drinks. Seniors, you can sign up outside Willett’s office up until March 12.
