Speech and Debate students took home awards at Parkway West on Oct. 29 and 30.
Miles Larson (12), took home third for the Champ Lincoln Douglas Debate.
“You can expect Oakville Speech and Debate to take home a lot of trophies this year,” said Larson.
Kelley Moynihan (12) and Rachel Scott (10) placed fifth with their duet, “Abbott and Castello”.
“We got great reviews, but we got fifth, it was upsetting,” said Moynihan.
Moynihan has hope that they are going to do wonderful at Clayton High School Nov. 19 and 20.
“It’s really exciting to see up and coming varsity members take trophies so early in the year,” said Larson.
