Gym A’s lobby has looked the same since the very early days of OHS. But some very needed alterations brought 2011 a Gym A Lobby update.
Although the lobby has yet to completed, there is a layout in effect for the plans. According to Activities Director, Ms. Becky Czuppon the plans are as such: Fix the lighting, install new ceiling tiles, update the trophy cases, and paint the concession stand.
“We hope to have it all finished by Summer 2012,” Czuppon says.
The lighting that has been in the lobby is not working properly, and there is not enough of it. A new row of lights will be installed to add brightness to the lobby. The tiles in the ceiling are outdated, and will be replaced. The trophy cabinets are going to be spruced up, and the concession stand will be painted.
“It’s just a really necessary update,” Czuppon said, “because things just were not working properly.”
