StuCo sells Ted Drewe’s

Maddie Foster , Online Editor-in-Chief and Profiles Editor • May 6, 2013

 Monday, May 6, through Friday, May 10, StuCo will be selling Ted Drewe’s ice cream at lunch.

They are selling chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry. Each ice cream costs $2.50.

StuCo held this fundraiser last semester as well. They were very successful with it and sold out before the week was over. They hope to repeat that success this semester.

Spanish Club members make tie blankets for a childrens hospital. My favorite part of fundraisers like this is being able to support an incredible cause while creating a fun event for all students in our school to enjoy, said Spanish Club member Brendan Horn. I feel that doing fundraisers like this is a wonderful way to give back to the community, support others, and create a lively environment in our school. The club raised more money than needed and was able to purchase additional supplies to make the blankets.
