sNOw ACT

For many OHS students, snow is a good thing to see. But a large number were not happy to see it on Dec. 14th.

With the bad weather this past weekend, several school activities were cancelled, including the December ACT. For many seniors, this was their last chance to improve their scores before their final semester of high school.

“I don’t know if colleges will accept my score from the rescheduled date,” said Zach Lafferty (12). “I had to take it this time for scholarships.”

Students will have the opportunity to take the ACT but the date has not yet been released. It is likely it will take place in January.

“Dr. Knost and I made the decision to cancel the activities due to the weather. We didn’t want students to have to drive in this stuff,” said principal Jan Kellerman. “We are trying to get ahold of ACT to reschedule the testing and a date will be released at a later time.”

The date will be posted on the ACT website when it is confirmed.
