After leading OHS to a 34-17 victory over rival Mehlville on Sept. 17, Quarterback Andy Oliver led OHS to a 43-14 victory over Francis Howell North last Friday.
Against Mehlville, Oliver led the charge with two passing touchdowns and a rushing touchdown, throwing for 225 yards. Against Francis Howell North, Oliver threw for one touchdown on a 75 -yard pass to receiver Javon Henderson (12). Oliver totaled 187 passing yards, leading the Tigers to their second straight win.
“The big thing with Andy is that he brings to the table a lot of poise and a lot of confidence,” head coach Arlee Conners said. “ A lot of the players, they can feel that, they can sense that. He has a good understanding of what were trying to do out there. He can come to the sidelines and he can almost tell me what’s going on out there and help me with what plays might work best.”
OHS will play at De Smet this Friday at 7 p.m.
