After the toughest week of the season for the OHS hockey team, in which they went 0-2-1, the Tigers needed a bounce back game and that is what they had Saturday night. The Tigers lit up the scoreboard scoring nine goals against Marquette.
It was just what the doctor had ordered for the Tigers, the nine goals they scored were three more than they had scored in their past three games.
I was just not an offensive outburst, the Tigers pitched their first shutout in over two weeks, playing solid defense and good goaltending performance.
It felt great to bounce back and win a game. We had a couple tough games prior to Marquette and it was a big confidence boost for the team,” said OHS forward Brendan Coon.
The Tigers look the keep its momentum going tonight when they take on Westminster at Kennedy Ice Rink. The puck drops at 7pm.
