OHS students have the chance to get their artwork published in a literary magazine. The new magazine “Writings on the Wall” is being developed by English teacher Mrs. Dyann Menzel.
“Most schools have a literary magazine,” Menzel said. “In my high school we had one and to be in it was a big deal.”
She wants to give students the chance to get work published whether it be short stories, poetry, photography, or artwork of any kind.
“It gives kids the chance to see their work published for the world to see,” Menzel said. Her plans for the magazine are that it will “evolve more as the years go by.”
The first edition of the magazine will be sometime before the end of the semester, and Menzel says she has already received several works from a multitude of students.
