In a typical classroom, you may find pencils, dry erase markers and desks, but here at Oakville, there’s more than just that. Let’s explore the weird items in classrooms that make OHS teachers’ personalities so special.
“[The weirdest item in my classroom is] a brown recluse spider named Jacob…” math teacher Tyler Lingle said. “He is suspended in a glass jar by (I think) spray glue. He was caught in the Drama Center back in 2016 (if my research was correct) and was being stored in the light/sound booth down there. I like to have unsuspecting students pick Jacob up and look inside and get scared. It's also just a good talking point.”
