DECA member advances to state
When DECA members headed to a state competition, one member stood above the rest.
The competition was at the Lake of the Ozarks from March 12 until March 15.
Among the the team of seniors Bailey Foster, Tricia Williams, Chris Guardado, Jacque Dreppard, Devin Jost, Jarad Wahl, and Gage Thomas, Foster alone is moving on to the next state competition for her design of a Startup Business Plan.
“I’m excited. I didn’t really expect that I would get to advance and I think it would be another good opportunity to help me with my marketing skills,” Foster said.
Foster plans on going into the marketing field and hopes this will help her.
“It was a real life experience that I will be able to apply next year in college,” she said.
Foster will make her way to her next competition on April 23 in Nashville, TN.
Current Senior Varsity Cheerleader for the past three years. Also in Broadcast for two years. This is my first year on Newspaper and second year in Hi-Step....
