These students began practicing their music months prior to the contest, and all of their hard work shows in the results.

Ten band students earned exemplary (1) ratings on their solos. There were seven band ensembles that earned (1) ratings and 11 groups and individuals who earned outstanding (2) ratings.

The choir also had excellent results, with 14 soloists earning exemplary (1) ratings and four earning outstanding (2).

The students who earned 1 ratings will be going on to the state Solo and Ensemble contest at  Mizzou on April 28.
