Golden Girls end the season in Orlando
OHS Golden Girls finished strong at their last competition of the 2015-2016 season.
The Golden Girls competed in the NDA (National Dance Alliance) National Championships and placed 2nd in Pom with their routine, “Rumors.” The girls also placed 4th with their routine, “Skyfall.” and 8th with their routine, “Dorothy.”
“I think it was the best performance we have ever done and it was good to end on a good note,” Carissa Wiseman (11) said.
The NDA Nationals were held on Feb. 26-28 in Orlando, FL. at Hard Rock Live hotel. It was an emotional moment for seniors Abby Metz, Cara Niehoff, Kristen Goetter, Kristine Pickens, and Morgan Blumenthal, as it was their last competition as an OHS Golden Girl.
“I am very proud of our team for getting 2nd because we worked hard and had a great performance,” Cara Niehoff (12) said.
