2016-2017 NHS members stand outside of OHS as a part of the Homeless for the Night campaign.

National Honor Society, one of the many clubs of OHS, has earned the title of myOHSonline.com “club of the week.”

Fundraising is one of the school’s ways of raising funding and awareness for people in need, and that’s just what NHS does. They hold several fundraisers each school year.

“Our NHS fundraisers are driven by some very passionate students,” said Mr. John Ries, an NHS sponsor. “And they do a great job of raising money and awareness.”

Some of the upcoming fundraisers that NHS will be doing to raise money and awareness are the Penny Delay, Spring Around the World, and Homeless for a Night.

Even members of NHS believe they accomplish a lot as a club, as Justin McCrady (11) said, “They accomplish a lot of stuff with the fundraisers.”
