After finishing the season with a Final Four appearance last year, the OHS ice hockey team is 4-3 to start the season this year. A large part of their success has come from assistant captain Andrew Kovacich (12).
“It’s pretty much the same team from last season,” Kovacich said, “so we are building off that success.”
He has 10 goals and four assists in six games for the Tigers. Kovacich also leads the team in points with 14.
“He brings a good atmosphere to the rink,” Adam Schafer (11).
The Tigers play Lindbergh on Nov. 30, at the Kennedy Recreation Center at 9:30 pm.
