The OHS girls basketball team is off to a 2-2 record to start the season. The Tigers have won their last two games beating Lutheran South 41-35, and Holt 49-35. One of the keys to their success has been the play of Aaryana Cook (12).
“We are already playing better than we did last year,” Cook said.
Cook scored 19 points in the game against Holt. She is leading the team in assists with nine. With Sidney Thompson (10) out for the year with a microfracture in her back, Cook will have to keep playing at a high level for the Tigers to succeed.
“We need to work on being stronger with the basketball,” Cook said.
The Tigers will play Francis Howell at MICDS on Dec. 21 at 5:30 pm.
