For the past 34 years Mr. Dave Robben, OHS soccer coach, has achieved a total of 1,017 wins for boys and girls.
Also, he also has two state titles under his belt. Robben was recently inducted into the first Missouri State High School Soccer Coaches Association’s first ever Hall of Fame.
11 coaches from around Missouri were inducted into the Hall of Fame on Jan. 5 in Columbia, MO, including Robben.
“It was certainly an honor in my coaching,” Robben said. “I am very glad that the skills have been recognized.”
After coming off a very successful season for the boys, Robben has high hopes for this girls season.
“We are getting an immediate jump start on this girls season this year,” Robben said.
The players who are not in a winter sport are already beginning their pre-season workouts with Robben.
“We definitely hope for a state title this year, just as we do every year.” Robben said.
