This weeks Athlete of the week is Dakota Schutz (12) of the Oakville Hockey Club. Schutz had three goals and two assists in his past two games.

Two of Schutz’s goals came on senior night last Thursday (Jan. 23) against Lafayette. With Schutz’s help the Tigers were able to beat the Lancers 7-3.

Schutz’s third goal of the week came in the Winter Classic last Saturday (1/29). The game started slow but the Tigers were able to blow out Lutheran South 10-3.

“It was nice to get a good team win on senior night” Schutz said.

The Tigers will start their playoff run this Thursday (Jan. 30) at Kennedy Ice Rink against Kirkwood. Puck drops at 7pm.
