The Tigers served up a competitive match on Thursday, Oct 8. Not only was the game against OHS rival Mehlville, but it was also senior night for five talented girls.

The gym was decorated with balloons, pictures and big giant heads of the seniors. The whole team even wore their senior night shirt to show their support for their seniors.

“We decorated their lockers and made big cut out heads for all the seniors. We had decorations throughout the gym,” Megan Cox (11) said.

The five seniors were Madison Aubuchon, Meredith Boone, Leah Fridley, Teagan Hogan, and Kristin Martin.

“I feel the game went great. I know for a fact that we gave it our all and played our hearts out and left everything on the court. It was an amazing crowd and definitely pumped us up,” Leah Fridley (12) said.

Although the tigers could not pull out a win, it was still a close game. The tigers lost 19-25 in the third.

“We played well as a team and our overall energy was better than it has been in the past. I think we could have played a little better and cleaned up some of our own errors but overall I was happy with the way we played,” Kristen Martin (12) said. “I’m absolutely going to miss playing with everyone. I love this team so much.”
