One month and counting! I hope last weekend you let your hair down and had some fun with your friends.

These past couple of weeks my twitter feed has been blowing up with lovey dovey tweets. Now being the single and independent woman I am, seeing all these girls gush over their boyfriends i only one thing; annoying. Now, everyone has the right to express their love and affection for their significant other, but in all reality its just another painful reminder that we are single.

This week’s tip is focused on the little green monster itself: jealousy. I find girls getting jealous of other peoples relationships all the time, but we shouldn’t be! We should be happy for these people not jealous that they have a connection we don’t.

Your time will come when you meet someone and fall head over heels, it’s just a matter of waiting for the right person. Instead of dwelling on the fact that you don’t have a boyfriend, take the time to appreciate all the good things you do have.

Plus, having friends in a relationship has its perks. With the help of their boyfriends, they can find you a blind date if you’re interested in a mysterious night out. But remember, everyone is single at some time so rather than dwell on the negatives take a positive spin on the situation!
