Middle hitter Sarah Makowski (11) has been a big contributor to volleyball’s success this season. So far, OHS is 20-4 with just three games left before districts.
Last week, Makowski led OHS to 2-0 wins over Webster Groves on Oct. 4 and Notre Dame on Oct. 5. Against Webster Groves, Makowski had seven kills and led the team with three blocks. Then against Notre Dame, Makowski had six kills and again led the team with three blocks. Makowski leads the team with in kills with 99 and in blocks with 57.
“ Makowski has played really well this season,” outside hitter Jen Wolken (12) said. “She has worked hard and it shows in games.”
The Tigers play at Northwest today at 5:15 pm.
