The OHS football team beat Fox 27-0 on Sept. 28 at Rodger Estes Field. The win brought the Tigers record to 2-4. A big contributor in the game was running back Morris LaGrand (12).
“I like having him back there because he’s a smart runner,” starting lineman Jimmy Broderick (12) said.
LaGrand scored three of the Tigers four touchdowns with rushing scores of 3, 49, and 34 yards. He also had 154 yards rushing on 16 attempts.
“We did good as a team and we kept bouncing back,” LaGrand said.
The Tigers play hated rival Mehlville on Oct. 5 at 7 p.m. at Mehlville.
“The Fox game gave us confidence that we can take into playoffs,” LaGrand said.
