Golden Girls host Breakfast with Santa

The OHS Golden Girls hosted their third annual breakfast with Santa on Saturday Nov 26.
The Golden Girls organized different activities for the kids to participate in while enjoying their breakfast. Some of the more popular activities included a face painting station, a place for the kids to make “reindeer food”, and snowball hockey. The kids were able to see performances from the varsity, junior varsity, and junior Golden Girls as well as get their pictures taken with Santa.
The Golden Girls allow the families to sign up, or pay at the door for the breakfast, and this year, they had over 75 walk ins. The majority of the money raised will go to the Golden Girls’ fund for nationals in the spring.
“I think the event went great, a lot of people showed up and I think everyone had lots of fun,” Amanda Nichting (12), captain of the Golden Girls, said.
