Katie Counts

Katie Counts, reporter

Hello folks, my name is Katie Counts! I am a senior this year and if you ask me what I’m doing with my life or where I’m going to college...I don’t know. This is my first year on the Prowl newspaper staff, but it is not my first rodeo in OHS journalism. I’ve been apart of the Tiger Paw yearbook staff for three (long and crazy) years and I absolutely love it. In my time with yearbook, I’ve been a clubs editor, academics and clubs editor, and now I’m one of three amazing editor-in-chiefs. I don’t have much of a life outside of journalism (#234islyfe) but I am passionate about many things: Target, food, long drives, Netflix, books, state mottos, words etc. My favorite word is “umbrella” and my favorite state motto is New York’s which is “excelsior”.
